Abstract submission

You are invited to submit the abstract of your contribution to the Symposium and School. Each participant is allowed to present up to two reports. The size of an abstract is one page. Abstracts must be written in English.

All abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (*.docx) or Rich Text Format (*.rtf). The file should be named by the author’s name. Please download the sample of abstract to prepare your abstract and follow these rules:

  • Page format must be A4, 2 columns.
  • Top and bottom margins are 2.5 cm, left and right margins must be 1.75 cm.
  • Title font: Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold. Please leave NMRCM 2014 logo in the header.
  • Author’s font: Verdana 10 pt. The name of speaker should be underlined.
  • Organization, address and e-mail font: Verdana 8 pt, italic.
  • Body text font: Times New Roman, 10 pt.
  • Titles in abstract font: Times New Roman, 14 pt.
  • References must be specified using square brackets: [1].
  • Mathematical formulas must be written using MathType or Microsoft Word Equation Editor. They must be right-numbered and the numbers are placed within parentheses (1).
  • Figures have to be embedded in the text, use ‘picture in text’ (‘as symbol’) text wrapping mode. Figures must be grayscale. Please, ensure that font size on pictures must be not less than 10 pt.

An abstract should be sent to abstract@nmr.phys.spbu.ru by e-mail as an attachment before May 30, 2014.

The form of the presentation (lecture, oral or poster reports) will be selected on the basis of the submitted abstracts taking into account author's request. Abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts after receiving the registration fee.

Electronic version (PDF) will be available for download from web server of NMRCM 2014 in the fall of 2014.

Paper submission

Participants of the symposium are welcome with their contributions to the special issue of Applied Magnetic Resonance devoted to NMR in Life Sciences under co-guest-editorship of Prof. V. I. Chizhik and Prof. M. S. Tagirov.

The papers should present results of the original research and be prepared according to “Instructions to Authors” found at the journals’ website

They will undergo the conventional refereeing procedure by two reviewers. Deadline and details of the manuscript submission for the special issue will be announced further.

Posters size

The admissible size of posters: A1 and A0.
